Vegan Frisco Trippel Hot Melt Toast recipe

A few weeks ago i was contacted by Max and was asked to create something with their newly released Hot frisco toast. They have released a new burger using this bread however the burger is not vegan, but the toast is…. so i decided to veganize the burger, just to show that anything you can be veganized! In co operation with Max, here is 1 of my creations using their new toast!

Max have published my recipe HERE but i am going to post the recipe in english here on my blog as well!

6 slices Max frisco hot melt toast
1/2 package pulled Oumph!
Vegan Mozzarella cheese
1 avocado
Iceberg lettuce
Optional vegetables ex tomato, cucumber, onion, pickled onions
1 package sweet potato fries – optional, make your own.

Sauces: Ketchup, BBQ sauce, mustard

How to:
Start by setting the oven at 225 degrees and bake the sweet potato fries in the oven.

Fry the pulled Oumph! on medium heat until finished.

When the sweet potato fries are almost done, it’s time to toast the bread in the toaster and start grating the cheese, however much you like!

When the bread is toasted, place the  toast on a baking sheet on an oven pan. On 4 of the toasts, add the Oumph! and cheese and then into the oven for about 2 minutes until the cheese has melted.

While the toast is in the oven, you can mash, alternatively cut the avocado. Season with salt and pepper.

Then when the toast and fries are done you can assemble the toast adding the salad, tomatoes, avocado, pickles, sauces etc and then eat warm and serve with fries or salad!

If you try this recipe it would be so fun to know what you think, and feel free to tag me on instagram as well!

Also you can of course use tofu or other fake meat instead of oumph and another form of cheese or no cheese! 🙂

  1. I think its great that someone in food has contacted you and asked you to do this! Seriously, you have some amazing ideas when it comes to making food and I really think you should make something of your ideas – maybe even publish a vegan recipe book! The skys the limit and I`m sure there are many people out there who would love to learn of your simple yet creative vegan ideas for food 🙂
This recipe you`ve created looks and sounds delicious. We don`t get the actual toast here but I`m sure I can recreate the recipe using ordinary bread? I love toasted sandwiches!
