A few weeks ago i tried making baked oats for the first time, Recipe Here. and i was positevly surprised at how good it was!
So about a week later i decided to try make a new baked oat combo, and that resulted in a chocolate, banana, PB baked oatmeal!
This turned into the perfect sweet and salty combo, and i love how the baked oats turn sort of into a cake and is very thick. Which makes it alot more filling, and of course… is great both warm and cold. So is perfect to make as part of a meal prep for the week 🙂
If you try this baked oatmeal.. don’t forget to let me know what you think 🙂
Ingredients:
200g oats
350ml boiling water
1-2 bananas (sliced)
70ml oatmilk
2tbsp brown sugar (or sweetener)
2-3 tbsp cacao
About 50-100ml peanut butter
3tbsp coconut chips
How to:
Preheat the oven to 180C.
In a bowl add the oats, brown sugar, and cacao as well as the boiling water – mix and allow to sit and thicken for 10 minutes.
Then add the oatmilk and stir to make the oatmeal less thick. Then add the sliced banana and peanut butter.
Place in a baking dish and spread evenly. Add coconut chips, some banana slices and more peanut butter on top!
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes!
Take out of the oven, allow to cool slightly and then enjoy with some oatmilk and extra banana!
Store in the fridge several days – perfect as a snack!
Looks and sounds divine will defiantly give it a go, thank you for the recepie
